The 1st annual 24 Hours of Stratton is Saturday March 23rd! It's a weekend long party and skiing/snowboarding event all based around having a great time while raising money for a great cause! Teams of 6-12 people will one person at a time rack up the runs from noon on Saturday to noon on Sunday, March 24th. You can start a team of your own and join in on the fun, or choose one to sponsor. All proceeds will go to The Stratton Foundation. The Stratton Foundation is a 501c3 corporation that raises money to give financial relief to individuals and families that are directly affected by hardship or disaster and to support other organizations that improve the quality of life in southern Vermont. In 2011-2012 The Stratton Foundation started the Hurricane Irene Relief Fund and raised over $450,000. There will be live music, a BBQ on Sunday, prizes, and just all around 24 hours of fun on the mountain! For more info, the schedule of events and how get involved, just check out HERE. Team EQX will be taking part, if you'd like to help support us and this great cause! Or, join the team. We’re giving away 2 spots to ski or ride with us on March 23rd and 24th. Qualify by making a donation of any amount to our fundraising page below and then send an email to eqx@weqx.com with proof of donation. Just do it before 9am, on Monday March 18th. A larger donation does not increase your chances of winning...so give whatever you feel comfortable with. |
