Benjamin Lerner, the Great-grandson of Irving Berlin (composer of such iconic tunes as White Christmas and God Bless America), is a Vermont-based Composer, Writer, Classical Pianist, and Recovery Advocate. He has been sober and clean since June 13th, 2016. His weekly column, CLEAN, is published every week in the Vermont News Guide. His debut album, also entitled, CLEAN, was released in February 2020. CLEAN was named one of the Best Vermont Albums of 2020. The album features Benjamin’s original piano-raps, in which he shares his personal journey in addiction and recovery. Benjamin has had the honor of performing at The National Academy of Medicine and The Aspen Institute.
