Pink Talking Fish is a Hybrid Tribute Fusion Act that seamlessly intertwines the music from three of the world’s most beloved bands, Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, and Phish. The band will take it to a new level at this year’s fest by adding the Grateful Dead into the mix and performing the Dead’s iconic album Terrapin Station in its entirety. The band will be accompanied by some very special guests….Terrapin Station is the ninth studio album by the Grateful Dead, released in July of 1977. It was released after the band returned to live touring, following a nearly two-year hiatus. This will be a very special ensemble that will give the album a larger than life performance.

With a diverse catalog of hundreds of songs, the musical juggernaut Neighbor has become one of the most exciting and unpredictable live bands on the music scene today. Grown in large part by the passion and devotion of the fans called Neighbors, their symbiotic relationship inspires and touches every performance. The creation of childhood neighbors Richard James (vocals, keys) and Lyle Brewer (guitar), Neighbor combines ambitious composition, soulful balladry, and a fearless approach to their lengthy improvisations. The quartet is rounded out by Dan Kelly (bass) and Dean Johnston (drums) who fuel the groove and lay a solid foundation for Neighbor’s “down home” sound. Come see what’s good in the neighborhood.

In those rare instances that a band reaches its fifth decade, it’s usually a result of stardom. In 50 years Max Creek has been small, big, regionally-huge, medium, and any other size one can think of; they’ve never graced the cover of Rolling Stone, but you’d be hard pressed to find a music fan in the Northeast that hadn’t heard of them. Creek is also much more engaging than the average band, sculpting lengthy shows on-the-fly from their 200+ song catalog with rockers, ballads, deep jams and crowd sing-alongs all tucked into their perfect places. Creek itself is multigenerational. Though the“front line” of guitarist Scott Murawski, keyboardist Mark Mercier and bassist John Rider has remained intact since the mid-70s, the current drums and percussion team of Bill Carbone and Jamemurrell Stanley weren’t even born when Max Creek was founded.

Bearly Dead is a nationally-touring, high-energy tribute to the Grateful Dead and all of its members throughout the years. While the band plays all of the Grateful Dead classics, they also dive into an extended catalog, which may include any song that any member of the Dead ever performed. With over 250 songs in rotation and new material being added all the time, Bearly Dead performs wildly different setlists every night and ensures that each show is a unique experience.

Dead Man’s Waltz is a six piece group that explores and celebrates the music of The Grateful Dead and The Allman Brothers Band and The Band. With two powerhouse drummers DMW echoes the line-ups while effortlessly interweaving the grooves and jams of all three iconic bands creating a unique musical experience.  Dead Man’s Waltz features “Rev” Tor Krautter (Rev Tor Band) on guitar and vocals, Tom Major (Entrain) on drums, Andrew Costa (Stone Revival Band) on keys, Jeremy Walz (Soul Sky) on guitar and vocals, Jeff Prescott (Rasinhead) on drums and vocals, and Brian O’Connell (Uncle Sammy, Gordon Stone Band) on bass and vocals.

Brett Hughes and Lowell Thompson team up to share each others’ original songs as Bar Brides which sound a little like what might happen if Gram Parsons and Tom Petty got on Waylon Jennings’ bus and showed up at Bruce Springsteen’s house. It’s Honky Tonk Rock, with curveballs and in-jokes, full-throated harmonies and jangly guitars. Joined by long-time ace rhythm section Pat Melvin on bass and Steve Hadeka on drums.

It’s hard to represent the wide-array of Neil Young’s influential material in one show, but that’s exactly what the band HARVEST & RUST does.  Based in Western Massachusetts, HARVEST & RUST often augment their show with other well-known local musicians to reproduce every era of Neil Young’s music.
