Aaron Johnston, drummer of Brazilian Girls, is putting together a new collaborative project dubbed J.E.D.I. (Jazz Electronic Dance Improvised), which will see a rotating cast of musicians joining the accomplished player in various formats of this conceptual venture in the near future. For this first exploration into the deep depths of sound, space, and time, Johnston is teaming up with keyboardist/programmer Borahm Lee (Break Science / Pretty Lights Live Band), saxophonist Ryan Zoidis (Lettuce / Shady Horns), and bassist Nate Edgar (The Nth Power) for a 3-night run through the Northeast. They will be at The Hollow Bar and Kitchen in downtown Albany on Saturday, December 2nd.

Troy Night Out means we’re at the River Street Pub with 3 local bands for $5! Doors at 8, music at 9pm. Kitchen is open til midnight for all your snackin’ needs. 21+
