EQX Live Broadcast from Frog Alley Brewing’s “Short Hop” Beer Mile

Frog Alley Brewing presents the first ever “Short Hop” Beer Mile. Jeff of Early EQX will be broadcasting his Jam N Toast show live from the Frog Alley Patio on Saturday, September 21st from 9am-11am.

There will be fresh waffles from Send Me Waffles and a breakfast food truck! Jeff’s giving away a pair of tickets to STS9 at Upstate Concert Hall on Tuesday, September 24th.

EQX Live Broadcast from The Park Theater

Join Jeff of Early EQX from 4-6pm on Friday October 4th. He’ll be broadcasting live from the awesome new Park Theater in Downtown Glens Falls to kick off the start of the Band Camera Action series that takes place later in the evening on October 4th.

The Schenectady County Funk n’ Jazz Fest

Schenectady County Funk n’ Jazz Festival is a FREE family friendly music event featuring regional and local musical acts influence by funk and/or jazz.

Enjoy a day of live music, food, drinks, craft vendors along with pop up art demos and kids activities.

Regional funk and jazz acts will perform on the WEQX Main Stage including Michael Benedict Jazz Vibes, Bryan Brundige and his Piggly Wigglies, Hanzolo, and our headliner Jocamo. Local jazz combos from area colleges and high schools will perform on our Second Stage.

12th Annual Fly Fishing Festival

The 12th annual AMFF Fly-Fishing Festival returns to beautiful Manchester, Vermont, on August 10th this year from 10 am until 4 pm. Their signature event of the summer—a growing event that showcases the joy of fly fishing with vendors, demonstrations, and a gathering of people who are all equally enthused about the sport. Come enjoy fly tying and casting demonstrations, try your hand at casting vintage rods, learn how to tie a saltwater fly, and mingle with like-minded people as you share the joy of the great outdoors.

PearlPalooza 2019

SEFCU presents, Pearlpalooza 2019! A FREE event on Saturday, September 14, 2019. Join us on North Pearl Street (between Sheridan & Pine Streets) for a day packed full of incredible live music and awesome events! 

Starting at 11:00am and going until 12:00pm, it’s #Yogapalooza! Grab your mat, and join other Pearlpalooza attendees for an hour of yoga before the music gets going. It’s a great way to get all those dancing muscles warmed up!  Sign up here!

Did you know Albany was once at the center of the North American beer industry? Albany Beer Historian, Craig Gravina, is an author and co-founder of the Albany Ale Project. Craig will be leading tours through Albany’s former brewing districts, discussing the impact beer and ale had on Albany. Tour is offered in four of Albany’s Distinct Neighborhoods.

Downtown Albany Tour – September 19th@ 6:00 pm: The Downtown Albany tour will meet at the Albany Pump Station and make a stop at Loch and Quay.

SolarFest 2019

In a fast-moving world, our show is inspired by the elegance of the carousel ride, the thrill of the roller coaster, and games of chance and skill that have long inspired young and old alike! You’ll see our troupers run for their lives through the haunted mansion, try their luck at the ring toss, balance their way through the house of fun, and discover romance in the tunnel of love! Circus Smirkus’ 2019 show Carnival is coming to town; step right up and join in the fun!

This year’s Troupe is comprised of 30 hardworking and talented teenagers ages 11-18 who come from Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maine, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont, Washington and Canada.

Circus Smirkus is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization whose mission is to promote the skills, culture and traditions of the traveling circus, inspiring youth to engage in life-changing adventures in the circus arts. Tickets revenue from these events goes back into developing circus programming for The Big Top Tour, Smirkus Camp, & Ringmaster Residency programs.

The scenic Hudson River will be our backdrop as we sample beer from the finest breweries in New York, including:

Proceeds from this event will benefit Riverkeeper, New York’s clean water advocate, in their fight to seek out polluters and team up with citizen scientists and activists to reclaim the Hudson River.
