The Palace Theatre, The City of Albany Events & Mirth Films presents The Palace Sessions with EASTBOUND JESUS – Wednesday, AUGUST 19 at 7:00pm!

Eastbound Jesus is a six piece acoustic/electric band from the small town of Greenwich, NY. They formed in the fall of 2010 in an old barn on the outskirts of their hometown and huddled around a hot wood-stove, they began writing music right away. Adam Brockway, Carl and Luke Anderson, Dave Wright, Dylan Robinson and Zack Infante take inspiration from all over the music spectrum to form a style all their own. Over a tight rhythm section, the group blends clever lyrics, unique vocal harmonies, solid strumming and picking, and rounds out their sound with lead instrumentation that is nothing short of on-point.

Joe Mansman and the Midnight Revival Band – Quarantine Concert Series

Joe Mansman and The Midnight Revival Band are a stark reminder of the authority of Rock and Roll. Where few bands
still don the mantle, they carry the torch, combining attitude, swagger, colossal guitar solos, and boisterous lyrics into a
crucible of classic rock, glam rock, blues, americana, and rockabilly.
Their new EP “Wolves Among Sheep”, showcases the group at it’s finest, employing a rich and dynamic change in pace that

ethereally serves dramatic and memorable vocal hooks over a soaring landscape of guitars and keys, carefully weaving their
way in and out of your soul like a fiery sermon. Their live shows take no shortcuts either. The band’s riveting presence
captures the room, and before long they have you nodding in accord saying “Long live rock and roll.”

Dogs In A Pile – Quarantine Concert Series presented by Common Roots Brewing

Enjoy this free concert from your home as High Peaks Event Production and NY Rock n Roots put on a high-quality production with full band.  Pick up some Common Roots brews and you’re in for a Sunday Funday!  www.commonrootsbrewing.com

Dogs in a Pile is the culmination of a love of music born from the deepest American roots of psychedelia, jazz, fusion, funk, traditional, and rock & roll. Sprung from the rich Asbury Park music scene in New Jersey, their serendipitous convergence has made for the kind of kindred intuition its members had only once dreamed of. Described as “listening to a single moving organism,” the sum of its five parts represents an original journey into the peaks and valleys of psychedelic improvisation, all while remaining reminiscent of so much we love of life and music.
The final iteration of “the Dogs” began with University of the Arts Philadelphia student and Asbury Park veteran Jimmy Law, along with his long-time friend Joe Babick, a 4 year veteran of the gifted young musician’s program at the nationally renowned Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, NJ. Lightning struck when they were introduced to Berklee School of Music student and bass player Sam Lucid, who immediately suggested fellow Berklee student and multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Kaplan. The addition of fellow Berklee student and collaborator Brian Murray in 2019 made for the quintessential final piece in the Dogs’ puzzle. Their commonality and love for improvisation by way of bands like the Grateful Dead and Phish, as well as a fervent inclination for the study of jazz, fusion and classical music has helped shape the free-flowing style that is the Dogs. Their unique synergy and joy in creating “music as an atmosphere” equates simply to, as the band would say, “spreading good music and good energy to good people.”
